Nearly 1% of all artists collect 90% of all streams, leaving the vast majority of independent musicians struggling to support and create their music.
Artists are pressured to create more music at an ever-increasing pace to feed algorithms, often with diminishing returns.
Help us support the creation and recording of music, and the transformation of artists lives.

Problem
Artists and musicians are more prolific than ever, but most struggle in today's music industry. Traditional funding models, such as record labels, deny a majority of talented, and driven artists.
Solution
Implement a grants program that values music over commercialism, does economic good, and creates a coalition of support to bridge the gap between corporate music and federal funding for the arts.
Outcome
Artists and musicians gain access to the opportunities of today's booming music industry and wield the creative freedom to record music outside of the need to chase trends and own their music.

Granting Harmony
Our grants Record Music and Create Jobs
The independent music economy depends on artists and musicians having the monetary resources to create. Our grants support the recording process while creating economic opportunity by being paid directly to those hired to record, produce, mix, and master on an artist's behalf. This creates multiple touch points of impact along the grant path and directly stimulating the independent music economy.

How Recording Fund Works
Our Process
Applications, Not Auditions
We don't chase trends. Our grants-based program is focused on finding and supporting dedicated, driven, and diverse applicants - not breaking artists. We believe that music stands before product, and we aim to be a gateway, not a gatekeeper.
Record Music. Create Jobs.
Being a musician today can be costly and usually comes with very little return. Our grants help artists and musicians pay for the cost of recording, which in return creates jobs for producers, engineers, studios and more.
